As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Project Assistant to join our team and support the Director in various capacities, ranging from Odoo project management to office administration.
Job Description:
As a Project Assistant at MakeMyDay.biz, you will play a vital role in supporting the director and contributing to the success of our Odoo implementation projects. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including office management, project coordination, and providing assistance to ensure the smooth functioning of daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience and grow within a dynamic company.
Responsibilities
- Assist the director in managing Odoo implementation projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and tracking progress.
- Support the director in office management tasks, such as organizing supplies, maintaining equipment, and managing correspondence.
- Act as a liaison between external resources, clients, and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and preparing reports.
- Handle various ad-hoc tasks and assignments as required to support the efficient operation of the office and project activities.
Must Have
- Common Sense
- Reliable and trustworthy (discreet)
- MBO Level in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Must have own transportation.
- Residing in Curacao.
Nice to have
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Speak English, Papiamentu, Spanish and Dutch
- Broad understanding of the island culture.
- Prior experience with Odoo or other ERP systems.
